Most of the time they may not ven look dirty but they can be the most contaminated area on the kitchen, this can also be the same for the towels in the bathroom. These towels, ideally should be changed every couple of days. This is because they are used on multiple occasions in a day.
With everything that is placed on your kitchen side, not just including raw meat that can be an issue. With your keys, purse, letters and all the other things that get thrown onto the side. This is why the kitchen counter should be wiped down and disinfected at least once a day or whenever you start to use it for cooking. It is also good practice to to use a different wipe for different surfaces as this can cause cross contamination.
As we use the sponge to wash dishes, pots, surfaces and many other items on a daily basis, a kitchen sponge can be on the dirtiest items in our kitchen. If your sponge still has many uses ahead of it but just needs a good clean, we suggest washing it thoroughly and then microwaving the sponge for 1 – 2 minutes. Please ensure the sponge pad does not have a metallic pad attached to it first though!
The hallway is usually the first thing you see when you walk in the house. This is just even more reason to make sure it is tidy. You can do this by tidying shoes, putting coats away putting keys in a place you can find them next time you are rushing out. By doing these few things it can make walking into the house after a busy day just a little bit calmer and stress free.
It is advised to wipe down around the sink at least once a day. This includes putting toothpaste and any other personal products away. We also advise that you spray the shower down with a daily shower cleaner and then use a squeegee to remove any excess water. Wiping away any hair, toothpaste and other shower products also helps to make your bathroom look and feel tidier.
